Dear Friends,

What a thrill it was to perform at BYU Women’s Conference on April 30th at the Marriott Center! It was wonderful to see so many people I know and love, as well as to meet so many new people. For those of you who would like to watch the broadcast of the Thursday Afternoon General Session I sang at can do so by going to www.byu.tv, clicking on the “Conferences & Addresses” tab, then on the BYU Women’s Conference logo at the top of the left-hand column, and then scroll down the right-hand column and click on “Camille Fronk Olsen (2009) Spiritual Strength in Challenging Times”. I sing two songs from the Prayer album at the very beginning of the broadcast before Sister Olsen’s marvelous talk.

I have a number of exciting announcements:

NEW ALBUM:
I am very excited to announce that I will be releasing a new album in Spring 2010 as a Deseret Book Shadow Mountain label artist! We are in the beginning stages, but the theme of the album will be the love and atonement of the Savior, Jesus Christ, under the working title “Song of Redeeming Love.” Like Prayer, this album will be a mix of classical, hymn, folk, and contemporary songs, and Tyler Castleton will be producing. I'm currently in research mode, so I am open to any suggestions for songs that you would like me to consider. I’m very excited about this project!

BYU EDUCATION WEEK PERFORMANCES:
As previously announced, I will be taking a break from The Phantom of the Opera tour for a week to come to Provo, Utah, and perform a number of concerts during BYU Education Week, August 18-21, at 7:00 pm, in the Pardoe Theatre at BYU! I will be performing a concert of Broadway music on Tuesday and Thursday (Aug. 18 and 20) and the Prayer album concert on Wednesday and Friday (Aug. 19 and 21). Tickets are open to the public and will be available for purchase on June 29 at the HFAC ticket office (# 801-422-4322) or on-line at: http://www.byuarts.com/. Prayer CDs will be available for sale in the HFAC and at the BYU Bookstore. I hope to see you many of you there!

NEW WEBSITE:
My wife, Rachel, and I (mostly Rachel) have been working long and hard on an AWESOME new website design, so please go and check it out and let us know what you think: www.dallynvailbayles.com! (I’m pretty biased, but I’m very proud of my wife! I think she’s a pretty amazing designer!)

“THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA” NATIONAL TOUR:
And last, but not least, I am very excited to announce that I will now be understudying the role of the Phantom! We are just about to start the rehearsal process so I don’t know when I will make my debut, but likely within the next 2 months. I will also be understudying the role of André, one of the two opera managers. Right now I am scheduled to make my debut in this role sometime next month in Houston. So, in all, I will now be understudying THREE principal roles including the title role—I hope my brain can handle it all!

May God bless you all, my friends! As always, thank you for your support!
